Disability Medicare benefits start 24 months after the date that social security disability begins. Social security disability may have a start date in the past depending on the each case. Disability Medicare is the same as over age 65 Medicare however not all plans are necessarily available to people on disability Medicare. You need to contact me to discuss as this involves, election periods and plan availability.
